Munich Mountain Festival: Messner and Baumann live
The idea behind this event is to reflect latest developments in mountaineering and to discuss historical highlights. Well-known experts offered insights in their explorative work around the globe. Reinhold Messner made a start with his lecture on "Passion for Limits" and Bruno Baumann provided for a concluding highlight, describing his adventurous expeditions to Tibet in order to reveal the secret of the Shangri-La-myth. Many visitors of the festival also wanted to know more about his latest project, the Silkroad Experiences. "It was amazing to see how deeply interested people are", Baumann stated after the event.
A quick decision was made to offer a specific Silkroad Experiences event in Munich on 26th February 2012 at the same location, the "Schloss" near the Olympic park.
