To avoid offering two performances of the same kind the Silkroad musicians decided to modify the arrangements of most of their songs overnight. So the second concert turned out to be much different in terms of rhythm, vocals and speed, thus providing for a completely new intercultural experience. The permanent members of the Silkroad Ensemble - Thomas Poser, Dost Matur and Enkhjargal Dandarvaanchig - will now return to Germany in order to make studio recordings of the new songs they have created on tour together with musicians from Bulgaria and Turkey. A second album of this unique ensemble could be the result of this year´s Silkroad Experiences expedition to Varna and Istanbul.
