Visitors are welcome to participate
"It is amazing to see how the children and young folk of Varna are interpreting the Silkroad topic", Laura says. There are animals loaded with bags, for example, going on a long journey through woods and along wild rivers or just colourful ornaments, representing the cultural richness and exotic connotation of the Silk Road.

Eva Farkas, shiatsu expert of the Silkroad caravan team, also has a big smile on her face. Her lessons and treatments have been very popular among visitors right from the start. "I talked to several medical experts and therapists who are looking for first hand information about shiatsu", Eva reports. Most visitors are in fact just enjoying the great experience of a professional shiatsu treatment.

Yet another aspect of the Silkroad program is the future of mobility. Many of the younger visitors have experienced a ride on one of the Silkroad team´s Raleigh expedition bikes. "It´s pure fun to use this electro-bicycles and to get some extra-power from a battery", a 15-year-old cyclist from Varna stated. "it is much easier to go uphill. for example. So people who are not in shape or who are old, can still get the full thrill of a long bicycle tour."
